The Latin American Kombucha Cup was not created simply to add one more evaluation event for kombucha.
It was created specifically to support the development of the industry: to build evaluation criteria, bring professionals together, share knowledge and connect Latin American producers with international experience and leading figures.

Specialized evaluation
A system developed specifically for kombucha that turns its technical and sensory characteristics into useful information for producers and for how they communicate with consumers.
By analyzing attributes such as carbonation, acidity, sweetness, intensity and sensory expression, we seek to build a common language between what the producer develops, what the professional perceives and what finally reaches the consumer.
This work brings together the experience of Patagonian Yeast and the sensory analysis tools of Senso Science.

More than ten years of experience in fermentation, microbiology, sensory evaluation and fermented beverage competitions support our guides, score sheets, protocols and evaluation criteria.
International connection
A competition created in Latin America and open to the world, bringing together producers, judges and specialists from different markets to enrich the evaluation and bring international knowledge to the region.
Tools developed to evaluate better
The CLK combines sensory guides, score sheets and tools developed by Patagonian Yeast and Senso Science with judges selected for their training and professional experience.
Our goal is to deliver consistent, relevant evaluations that recognize the work of producers and provide useful references for developing their products and communicating them to consumers.
